BWZ Consulting Origin Story
After spending five years helping to grow an education nonprofit from a team of 10 to 120+ and annual revenues of $500k to $15M alongside the co-founders, Bonnie took her many hats and branched out to wear them with other change-making organizations.
In September 2021, BWZ Consulting was born. BWZ’s first client was the Research Partnership for Professional Learning out of Brown University.
About Bonnie
For the past decade, I’ve worked at the school, district, and federal levels of education to improve teaching and learning.
From 2016-2021, I served as Instruction Partners’ Director of Development & CEO Support, raising and managing more than $8M in philanthropy annually. Prior to that, I supported other nonprofits (New Leaders, NCTQ) and school systems (Metro Nashville Public Schools, YES Prep) on policy and organizational development.
I’m a “Double Dore” graduate of Vanderbilt University, with my Bachelor’s in Human & Organizational Development and my M.P.P. in Education Policy.
